We were shaken out of bed this morning when a local recylcing plant blew up!
David left shortly after the first explosions to help with the fire service, and then he called at 7:00 to tell me there was an evacuation order for our town and to get the children up and leave! Fortunately we have friends nearby (but not too near!) who could take us, and Lucy the dog. We stayed until after supper.
Quite a bit of excitement for the start of the week!

Glad to hear you are home and safe. I wondered if you had been evacuated when your answering machine beeped like 20 times before I could leave a message! :)
You do have some excitement in Port Robinson!! Who knew?!
