Field Trip!
Granny and Granddad came to visit yesterday and we took a neat field trip to the Glenridge Quarry. This is an old quarry that was turned into a landfill site, and then "naturalized" so it is now a large park with a children's play and science area. We had a fun time exploring the Earth Tunnels.
Then we talked about the weather,
and the different kinds of precipitation.
But I think we had the most fun playing on the (rather unrealistic) model of the solar system.
Altogether a fun time had by all!
